Electric Car Hire Europe
Hertz and Renault have signed an agreement for Hertz to be one of the first operators to offer the French automaker's electric Twizy model for car hire Europe. The deal also includes the Kangoo Z.E., Fluence Z.E. And ZOE models, which are to be added to the rental fleets of Hertz and Connect by Hertz, the company's car sharing club.
The letter of intent was signed at the Geneva Motor Show, and is proof that Hertz remains very focused on providing more zero-emissions vehicle solutions to customers. The company plans to add 500 units of the Renault models to its fleet in Europe over the next 2 years, and this partnership will be a major part of the Hertz Global Electric Vehicle Program. This program is designed to bring a variety of electric cars to the general public.
